Moreover a process than a final object, Canvas is part of our research regarding the way materia can embody an experience. It reveals the experiment of blending an industrially produced material with the free play of color. Therefore, using different layers of cement manually mixed with different quantities of pigment, it aims to bring this type of material closer to human scale.
The gradient of color alters the mass of the table, generating progressive cavities waiting for utility proposals.
The object is exhibited at Dutch Design Week, Klokgebouw Hall 3 during the 17th of October till the 25th of October 2015.
The object was produced with the support of Lindec Romania and Vertigo Metal Design.
